  Software Piracy

Software piracy simply means using software without paying for it. In Hong Kong, it is illegal to copy, upload, download, distribute or install computer software without permission.

There is a different license agreement for freeware, shareware and software need to be purchased for use.

Over the Internet, some Warez Dudes distribute a "crack" file for illegally accessing software, which is a criminal act. Software are the developers' creations. A piece of software requires months or even years of development. Only the developers deserve the rewards.
