  Intellectual Property Rights

Sometimes you may find some articles or photos that may enhance your school assignments and impress your teacher.

Under Intellectual Property Law, it is illegal to save and use a file which was created by and belongs to someone else. Never pretend that you created (wrote, drew, photographed, etc.) something that you did not. If you need to download copyrighted material, you must first ask for permission from its owner.

However, you can make reference to those articles, quote a small number of sentences, and state the sources of those materials in your footnotes and bibliography. Diligent research shows itself in detailed documentation.
