Analysis: Refer to cases listed in the Resource table below. There are links to various cases within the Cases for Discussion section. Teachers may print out these cases to use as handouts or project their respective comic strips using a projector. Most of the selected cases involve legal issues. Respective ordinances can be found in the Resources -> Knowledge Base -> Law and Legislation section.
At the end of each discussion, teachers may ask their students to rate the crimes and make their own judgments on the severity of punishment that should be handed out to the offenders, then the teacher may compare their judgments with the maximum penalties written in the law.
