Questions for brainstorming in discussing ethical issues

(Ideas originated from Robert N. Barger, 2002)
  1. What are the ethical issues in the case?

  2. Who are the interested parties and what do you suppose each of them to do?

  3. Propose three possible solutions (two extremes and a compromise), and give a best-case and worst-case scenario for each solution. For each solution, state whether you could tolerate the worst-case outcome.
